Because it is a low growing plant, it is DFC’s recommendation to plant Selaginella Kraussiana 'Gold' in the foreground of your vivarium and terrarium. It loves humidity. Perfect for planting around the water pools or waterfalls.
Height x Width: vining to 3-6' or more but never more than 2 to 3 inches high.
Mature Size: Height: 1 to 1.5 feet and Spread: 1 to 1.5 feet.
Light: Bright to moderate. Can tolerate shady.
Temperature: High humidity and warm temperature.
Watering: Keep soil well drained and well watered. Do not allow the roots to ever dry out.
Propagation: To divide the plants, simply pull the plants apart from the base with roots attach.
